be writing to的用法

be writing to一般用在應用文的信件中，而且一般放在首句，開門見山，點出信件的類型。如：I am writing to thank you for…（感謝信），I am writing to make an apology for sth.（道歉信），I am writing to apply for sth.（申請信），I am writing to give you some advice on sth.（建議信）等。

①後面接人，be writing to sb.

表示給某人寫信

同時，米歇爾·塞繆爾稱：“如果聖誕老人都長這樣媽媽們會比自己的孩子更愛給他寫信吧。#約克戴爾時尚聖誕公公#。”

②be writing to see 拭目以待

The European Central Bank， which before the crunch had signalled that it would raise interest rates on September 6th， seems to be waiting to see how the dust settles.

歐洲中央銀行，雖然在這次信貸緊縮前暗示在9月6號的會議上會增加利率，看來只能靜等塵埃落地了。

be written to 寫給......的 written for 替（為）......寫的......。如：

This letter is written to Jack/ our company. 這封信是寫給傑克（我們公司）的。

This letter is written for Jack. 這封信是替傑克寫的。

This song is written for his wife. 這首歌是為他的妻子而寫的。

This music is written for her piano. 這是為她的鋼琴譜寫的曲子。

動詞不定式有進行體和完成體：

to be writing，to have written，也有被動態(如to be written，所有的主動詞，不論是及物動詞還是不及物動詞，也不論是動作動詞還是狀態動詞，都有不定式形式。助動詞除be和have外，沒有不定式形式。動詞不定式在語法功能上可作主語、賓語、表語、定語和狀語。
