practice+to - do還是+doing

+doing，練習做什麼事情，那動作必須是正在持續進行的啊。比如練習寫字，你寫字的時候才叫練習寫字，不可能練習和寫字是分開的動作

“practice doing sth.”是正確的句式，意思為“練習做某事”，例如：You must practice speaking English.（你必須練習説英語），“practice to do”則是錯誤的句式

1)practise用作及物動詞時後面可接名詞、動名詞，不能接不定式。practise的基本意思是“練習”、“訓練”，也可用來表示“實行”和“開業從事於”。如：

①She has been practising the some tune on the piano for nearly an hour.

她在鋼琴上一直練同一個調子已近一個小時了。

②They”re practising singing the new song.

他們正在練習唱那首新歌。

③We practised pronouncing the sound again and again.

我們一遍又一遍地練習發這個音。

④It”s very important to practise listening.

練習聽力是非常重要的。

⑤He practised tennis/the piano for two hours every day.

他每天下午練兩個小時網球/鋼琴。

⑥Our income is getting smaller and we have to practise economy.

我們的收入變少了，所以只好厲行節約。

⑦He began to practise medicine/the law in his early twenties.

他在二十剛出頭時就開業行醫/開始做律師了。

2)practise可用作不及物動詞

① Practise more and you”ll make progress.

勤練習，你一定會進步的。

②Don” t forget to practise after class. 課後別忘了練習。

【注意】 practise的名詞是 practice，兩詞發音一樣，practice為不可數名詞。Practice makes perfect. 是一句諺語，意思是“熟能生巧”。 put the idea into practice表示“把思想付諸實踐”。
