showing和telling的區別

showing和telling都有説話的意思，但是在用法和讀音上大有區別，如下：

1、用法不同。

showing一般作及物動詞用，着重説話的內容，它的賓語可以是名詞，代詞或賓語從句。（say sth to sb）

telling常作及物動詞，意為“講述，告訴”，動詞常跟雙賓語。（tell sb sth/tell sth to sb）

2、讀音不同。

showing的英式讀法是[seɪ]美式讀法是[seɪ]。tell的英式讀法是[tel]美式讀法是[tel]。
