1，表示方式、方法，相當於the way in which。可譯作“怎樣、怎麼”

如 I didn’t know how he came here. 2. 表示程度上的感歎，可譯作“多麼……，真……，這麼……”。

3、表示對程度、數量、情況的疑問。 如，She wondered how he loved her.

4、僅用作連詞引導間接陳述句，本身無意義。
