insurprise和withsurprise的區別

in surprise和with surprise基本上通用，但in surprise可作表語或狀語，而with surprise只作狀語。另外，Frederick T· Wood《英語介詞習語詞典》有如下解釋可供參考：

surprise用作名詞，表示出其不意地使人吃驚出其不意地攻擊（或捕捉）的意義時，其前用by。例如：

The enemy took us by surprise.敵人偷襲我們。

表示驚奇（或驚訝）地看着某人時，其前用in。例如：

She looked at me in surprise when I suggested that the story might not be true.當我提出説，那故事可能不是真實的，她驚訝地看着我。

表示驚奇（或驚訝）地聽到什麼或看見什麼時，其前可用with。例如：

I noticed with surprise that the house had been repainted and the garden tided up.我驚奇地注意到，房子重新油漆過，花園也拾掇乾淨了。
