一. will的 用法。 will用於構成將來時，不管什麼場合，都可以用will。

例句：I will go home tomorrow. 明天我就要回家了。 I’ll go home tomorrow.

He will be here soon.他不一會兒就到這兒來。

They will not arrive before next week. 他們下星期才能到達。They won’t arrive before next week.

He won’t come today.他今天不來了。

二． shall的用法。Shall的一種用法是在主語是第一人稱的句子裏代替 will.

例句：I shall go home tomorrow.我明天回家。

第二種用法，用在第二人稱與第三人稱的句子中，加重語氣，有“非這樣做不可”的意思。

例句：He shall come at once. 他一定得馬上到這兒來。 shall是一定，非得的意思。

should， would 用來表達條件的助動詞。

三. should的用法。

I should go at once if I were you. 如果我是你的話，我馬上就走。

I’d go at once if I were you.

I knew you’d understand. 我以為你是理解的。

Should 應該，用於各種人稱，而且只能用should。

We should keep up our promise. 我們應該信守諾言。

You should see a doctor at once.你應該馬上去看醫生。

四．would 的用法。would 行動，做法（過去的習慣）。
