在the more結構中，前面是具有條件意義的程度狀語從句，後面是主句。前面的the就是連詞，意為“如果到達某個程度”後面的the是程度副詞“達到這個程度”。

the more ... ， the more ...越……越……

這種結構中的謂語動詞⼀般情況下：主句⽤將來時態，從句⽤⼀般現在時態（代替將來時態）。
