before加動詞和句子的用法

1、before後面直接跟動詞的，那個動詞就用ing形式

例如：I go to the WC at first before going home.在回家之前先去趟廁所

before後面有賓語的，其後動詞就用原形

例如，I clean the room at first before you come here.在你來這兒之前我先打掃一下房間.

2、用於It+be/take+時間段+before句型

在這一句型中又可以根據主從句的時態分成兩種情況。

若主句是一般時將來時態，從句是一般現在時.若主句是肯定句意思是“要過多長時間才”若主句是否定形式翻譯成“用不了多久就”。

It will be two weeks before everything returns to normal.

兩週之後一切才能恢復正常。

It will be many years before the situation improves.這種狀況或許要過許多年才能得以改善。

這時若主句是一般過去時從句也是一般過去時。若主句是肯定句翻譯成“多長時間之後才”，若主句是否定形式翻譯成“沒過多久就”。

如：

It was some time before I realized the truth.過了很長一段時間我才瞭解到真相。

It wasn't long before she became a brave solider.沒過多久她就成了一名勇敢的戰士。

After that it still took seven years before they got married.他們又過了七年才結婚。

before加句子 ，表示在……之前。before加動詞的時候要加ing形式。例如：

1、 We will hold a meeting before we have a discussion about the problem.

2、Before he came to my home，he bought a cake.

3、Before having lunch，he finished writing a letter to his girlfriend.

4、Before making a conclusion，we should listen to her explanation.
