live和livein的區別

區別：

一、意思不同

live in表示住在... .其後面跟表示地點的名詞。住在學習工作的地方住在（某地）。live on表示繼續活着繼續存在住在…上以…為食。

1、They live on the other side of the street.

他們住在馬路的另一邊。

2、They bought an old schoolhouse to live in and built a workshop in the basement

他們買了一處老校舍當住房，然後在地下室裏建了一個作坊。

二、讀音不同

live on：英 [liv ɔn]   美 [liv ɑn]

live in：英 [liv in]   美 [liv ɪn]

1、I live on my own in a studio flat. 

我自己住在一個單間公寓裏。

2、We must try to live in peace and harmony with ourselves and those around us

我們必須努力和我們自己及周圍的人和睦相處。
