at the party和for the party的區別

1，二者的意思不一樣。

（1）at 是個介詞。把地方、地點、位置當作一個“點”： 例如：The begger is sitting at the corner. 那乞丐坐在角落裏

  &nbspat (在、於)用指明一特定的時間、節日、年齡： 例如：at half past five 在五點半

 at the party  在晚會上。

at  home在家，at work 在工作。

（2）for 也是個介詞。for 是為了的意思，如

for example  例如，for  the reverlution 為了革命，for the lunch 為晚餐作準備，for the party   為晚會作準備。

I made it for herat.  

我為她做的 。

2，at the party和for the party雖然在句中同作狀語，但用途是不同的。

at表示指向某一目標，到達某地。

for後面表示原因與目的為多

如

He met her at the party

he is preparing for the party.

他在晚會上遇見了她，他正在為晚會作準備。

前者是地點狀語，表示在聚會上後者是目的狀語，為了這個聚會做準備。

為了派對for the party，在派對上at the party

如：What is he going to do for the party? 他打算為聚會做什麼?

There are six children at the party. 在聚會上有六個小朋友 

一般説來，表示集體性活動的名稱之前通常用介詞 at，這類名詞除 party 外，還有 meeting， conference， funeral， dance 等。如：

There was any amount of food and drink at the party. 聚會上有的是吃的喝的。

She spoke for forty minutes at the conference. 她在會上講了四十分鐘。

Only the nearest relatives were present at the funeral. 只有幾位近親參加了葬禮。

I saw many people at the dance. 我在舞會上看到很多人。

當然，如果不是表示“在聚會上”，也可以用其他介詞的，比如用 to 表示“去參加聚會”。

如：

He persuaded her into going to the party. 他説服她參加這次聚會。

Everyone brought their partner to the party. 所有人都攜伴參加聚會。

I’ve asked David to come to the party. 我已經邀請了大衞來參加派對。
