correct和proper與right的區別

1、correct含有按標準或規則往往是“正確”的意味 而right含有按道德規範往往是“正確”的意味。例如:

（1）This sentence is grammatically correct but idiomatically wrong.這句話從語法上講是對的，但不符合習慣用法。

（2）I don't think it's right to leave children alone in a house.我認為把小孩獨自留在房裏是不對的。

2、right有“正常的”“正義的”“井井有條的”等意思，而correct沒有。例如:
