Was怎麼改成一般疑問句

Was是am，is的過去式，主語必須是單數形式。如，He was honest.他過去是誠實的。又如，I was in the sitting-room then.當時我在起居室。一般疑問句是把was提到主語前面。如，Was he honest?/Were you in the sitting-room then?
