主語從句用法歸納表格
如：
- What we need is enough time.
這句話中 What we need 就是主語，是一個句子
✰由引導詞引導，放句首
- That she was chosen made a tremendous stir in her village.
- Why the woman was murdered is still a question.
- Whether it will do us harm remains to be seen.
那所謂的主語從句呢，就是把原來由一個詞充當的主語變成了一個完整的句子，這個句子在這句話裏跟一個名詞起的作用是一樣一樣的
舉例：
- What we need is enough time.
這句話中 What we need 就是主語，是一個句子

✰it作形式主語，代替主語從句放句首，主語從句放句末
舉兩顆栗子
- Where you came from doesn't make any difference.
- It doesn't make any difference where you came from.
- Whether it will do us harm remains to be seen.
- It remains to be seen whether it will do us harm.
上面的兩組句子，其實是一個意思，只是位置發生了變化，一個在前一個在後
主語從句通常由這些詞進行引導： that、whether、what、who、whom、which、whose、when、where、why、how等。
無詞義，看見了就當沒看見一個樣
that引導主語從句的兩種情況
❥that 從句在句首
- That you are coming to London is a good news to us．
- That the seas are being overfished has been known for years.
注意：這是 that 存在感最強的時候了，當“頭兒”了，所以不能省略
❥that 從句在句末
用先行詞it作形式主語，that引導的主語從句放句末的情況常見於以下4種
① It be + 形容詞 + that從句
常見的結構如下：
- It is clear that 顯然...
- It is possible that 很可能...
- It is likely that 很可能...
- It is natural that 很自然...
- It is certain that 可以相信...
- It is strange that 奇怪的是...
- It is fortunate that 幸運的是...
- It is necessary that 有必要...
➢It's necessary that we should make full preparation for the exam.
➢It’s strange that it hasn’t been noticed before.
② It be + 名詞 + that從句
常見的結構如下：
- It is a pity that 可惜的是…
- It is a fact that 事實是…
- It is a good news that …真是太好了
- It is a good thing that …真是件好事
- It is no wonder that 難怪…
- It is a shame that 遺憾的是…
- It is an honor that 真榮幸…
- It is a common knowledge that …是常識
- It is a miracle that …真是奇蹟
