home動詞用法

home作動詞，主要用於短語home in on sth.中。該短語主要有以下兩種含義。

（1）to aim exactly at an object or place and move directly to it對準並靠近某事物或地方

例如：The but can home in on insects using a kind of radar.

蝙蝠能憑藉某種雷達準確找到並飛向昆蟲。

（2）to direct your efforts or attention towards a particular fault or problem將注意力集中於某一缺陷或問題

例如：He homed in on the one weak link in the argument.
